This bullet weighs a nominal 465 grs and measures 0.446″ in diameter. While it can work for the 43 Mauser (although it is heavier than the military bullet, which was 385 gr), it is designed for a number of American blackpowder cartridges such as the 44-90 and the 44-77 or others using a 0.445 – 0.447″ diameter bullet. In the 43 Mauser, this bullet trades velocity for exceptional penetration.  Our experience is that it will not provide the best accuracy in carbine length barrels and it is not recommended for M71 carbines.  The full length M71 or M71/84 will provide good accuracy with this bullet.  The price is per 50 bullets and the weight is 1560 g.
