Commercialized in 1909, this rebated rim cartridge was meant to work with standard Mauser bolt faces. Firing a 410 gr (0.435″) bullet at 2350 fps, it provided a powerful package in a lower cost rifle. While the headstamp is different, this is Bertram manufactured.
