This bullet is meant for use in the 12.7 x 44R cartridge but it can be loaded in any 50 calibre cartridge. Sized to 0.512″ and weighing a nominal 430 grs (425 gr as cast), its profile is close to what was loaded in the 12.7 x 44R round (425 gr round nose). The bullet is cast from Lyman #2 alloy and it is harder than some of the other period bullets, the Brinnell hardness will be around 15.
