This cartridge was first introduced for the Winchester 1886 but was also chambered in a number of other repeaters and single shots. Taking a 0.376″ diameter bullet in the 250 – 270 gr range it is comparable to the 38-55 Winchester. This brass is made by Bertram but it has a different headstamp, however, the 38-56 is present and it is made to the same specification. It is priced per 20 cases.
